The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer

as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy and service.

Friends of the Bacon Memorial Library

The Friends group is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization. The group raises funds for the Library to use beyond the normal Library budget, to enhance planned projects or to find additional projects. Friends of the Wyandotte Museum

The Friends of the Wyandotte Museums originated from the Michigan Alkali Trust created by the J.B. Ford family to support and maintain their gift of the General Hospital to the citizens of Wyandotte. The Friends of the Wyandotte Museums Endowment is a non-profit organization devoted to developing a strong endowment fund to continue and perpetuate the important work the Wyandotte Museums contribute in improving the community’s quality of life, preservation of important historical and architectural resources, archival collections and educational opportunities. Oakwood Cemetery Association

Purple Heart Memorial Garden

The Wyandotte Beautification Commission is working to restore the Purple Heart Statue which is the first statue of its type ever donated in the entire nation. Due to the continuing deterioration of the statue over the past several decades, we ask for your help in saving this treasured monument dedicated to the memory of our brave wounded soldiers. Wyandotte Roosevelt High School Alumni Football Club

The RHS Alumni Football Club is a 501c3 non-profit organization. The club has been raising money for to support the Wyandotte Bears football program for over 25 years. The main focus is scholarship funding. The club also supports the team with the purchase of equipment, cameras and clothing. For more information about the RHS Alumni Football Club you may click here.

Wyandotte Historical Society

The Wyandotte Historic Society was established in 1958. The first Society Museum was opened in 1966. The Wyandotte Historical Society is a 501 c (3) non-profit organization. More information may be found on the Wyandotte Historical Society  webpage.

Wyandotte Music Boosters

The Wyandotte Music Boosters raises funds and advocates for the music performance programs at the elementary, middle and high school levels. The Music Boosters are a non-profit organization that raises funds for the program and their corps of volunteer’s chaperones trips, builds props and otherwise supports our music program. For more information about supporting the Wyandotte Music Boosters, you may visit their website.

Wyandotte Animal Pound

The Wyandotte Animal Pound is dedicated to promoting the adoption of friendly, unclaimed animals that have been abandoned or displaced of their home. Often these animals are in need of veterinary care.
