Bishop Park

Park Hours: 
6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

 Location: 
Along the waterfront on VanAlstyne from Elm to Vinewood.

The Bishop Park facility fronts the Detroit River and is 
contiguous to the Wyandotte Central Business District. The park offers excellent fishing opportunities from its huge 400 foot Handicapped-accessible fishing Pier. The park also features a wonderful concession stand with a barrier-free open air wood deck picnic area, containing picnic tables, umbrellas, and restrooms. 

There is large pavilion / picnic shelter,  playground equipment, tennis & basketball courts. The Annual Heritage Days Program is held each September at Bishop Park. The 12.2 acre park is one of 13 parks in the city. In the summer there are supervised programs at the neighborhood parks.
