Political Background:

 Councilman Kolakowski was first elected 1974 as Constable for the City of Wyandotte which he held through 1979. He was then elected to Wyandotte City Council in 1981, were he has held a position for 24 years.
Family Background / Other:
Councilman Kolakowski has been a life long resident of Wyandotte and is a Roosevelt "Class of 1965" graduate, He has two daughters, Jill & Jodi as well as two grand daughters.
The councilman is the owner/operator of  Kolakowski's Enterprises Inc. dba Kola's Food Factory, a restaurant, catering, street fair food service business.
 

Groups and Affiliations:

Councilman Kolakowski  retains memberships in  American Legion Post 447, the Wyandotte Boat Club, Knights of Columbus and is a Life Sponsor of Duck's Unlimited.
