Fire & Flannel Festival is back after a year of hiatus.  This fall festival is centered around fall flair, fire and flannel on September 23 – 26, 2021.  The festival will span over three city blocks in Downtown Wyandotte and will provide entertainment for everyone;  including a carnival , fire magic acts, live chainsaw carvings, Jack Pine Lumberjack shows from Mackinaw Island and live music! 

Come see World Champion Lumberjacks in head to head competition! Chopping, Sawing, Axe Throwing, Log Rolling and Speed Climbing – it’s a great combination of action packed fun and comedy! All the way from Mackinaw City,  Jack Pine Lumberjack Show will be hosting seven FREE shows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.    
The Wyandotte DDA presents Carvings by Scott, a live chainsaw artist.  Scott will be carving nine sculptures over the weekend, that will later be placed around Downtown Wyandotte.    
Come be amazed by Clark the Juggler as he eats and juggles fire.  All shows are choregraphed by music and are fun for all ages.  
A carnival will be set up in the Yack Arena parking lot featuring thrill rides for older children / adults and small rides for younger children.  Unlimited ride armbands are on sale now for only $17. After the presale ends, armbands will be available to purchase at the carnival for $20.  To receive this discount, armbands must be purchased before Sept 23 at 11:59 p.m. Guests can ride an unlimited number of riders per day, per armband.  Walk up armbands are also available Thursday through Sunday at regular price. All weekend long, there will be live music in the beer tent, located in the parking lot on the corner of Maple & 2nd Street. There will be a variety of music for everyone including country start Alan Turner and everyone’s favorite 80s band, The Square Pegz. Everyone is encourage to wear flannel shirts for this fun fall occasion.  Food trucks and vendor booths will line the streets. Plus, sycamore street will be fill with games in the Faygo Fun Zone.
