7. Communication from the Director of Museums and President of the
Cultural and Historical Commission regarding amending a resolution
requesting permission to sell any salvageable items taken from
homes scheduled for demolition for the benefit of the Wyandotte
Museums.
8. Communication from the Director of Financial and Administrative
Services and City Engineer submitting an acceptance of a Bid File
# 4440-Speaker and Sound System for the Police/Court facility.
9. Communication from the Director of Financial and Administrative
Services relative to the government accounting standards board's
statement # 45 that provides guidance for local units of
government as it pertains to the cost of retiree health care as
well as any "other post employment benefits (other than pensions)
; requiring the government- wide financial statements to recognize
the cost of providing retiree health care coverage over the
working life of the employee rather than at the time the health
care premiums are paid; this new pronouncement is effective for
the year ending September 30, 2009.
