Regular session of the City Council of the City of Wyandotte, the
Honorable Mayor James R. DeSana presiding.
ROLL CALL
Present: Councilpersons Browning, Kolakowski, Peterson, Ptak,
Sutka
Absent: Councilperson Fricke
PERSONS IN THE AUDIENCE:
Peter Rose, suggested an annual summit to discuss how we can work
together.
Chris Calvin, 466 Sycamore, regarding his demotion last year. Same
things are still going on, statements saying he did wrong things.
Need investigation, suggests equal treatment. Requests copies of
letters saying he did wrong things.

City of Wyandotte
Dear Mayor DeSana and Council Members:
In order to meet the requirements of the Wayne County Community
Development Block Grant Program, it will be necessary to hold a
Public Hearing and also publish a Statement of Community
Development Objectives and possible use of the 2008 CDBG funds.
The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive comments and
suggestions on the expenditure of the 2008 Community Development
Block Grant Funds.
The Public Hearing Notice and Proposed Statement can be combined
into one publication.
A Notice of Public Hearing should be scheduled for December 10,
2007 and the Statement for the possible use of CDBG funds for the
2008 Wyandotte Block Grant Program is attached. If this meets with
your approval, we recommend that the City Clerk be so directed to
publish same in the November 28, 2007, edition of The News Herald.

Dear Mayor and Council Members:
Attached please find Purchase Agreement for the City to acquire
the following property: 1744 2nd Street $67,500.00 TIFA Area Funds
— Single Family Dwelling
If this meets with your approval, I recommend that the Department
of Legal Affairs be directed to prepare the necessary sale
documents and the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute same. I
further recommend that the undersigned be authorized to demolish
same.

The Honorable Mayor DeSana And Council Members

Dear Mayor DeSana and Council Members:
Dynamic Enterprise Solutions, Inc. has submitted a quote of
$48,469.59 to perform the work of providing the wiring and outlets
needed for the proposed phone and data service locations at the
new police and court project. Dynamic is the service contractor
for the City's phone system.
The undersigned recommends acceptance of the quote from Dynamic
Enterprise Solutions, Inc., Milford, Michigan, in the amount of
$48,469.59 subject to the submittal of a Certificate of Liability
Insurance naming the City of Wyandotte as an additional named
insured. Payment will be a lump sum payment upon final acceptance
of the work provided, and the work will be funded from the Police
and Court Account No. 400-301825-340.

recommendation of the City Engineer and Director of Financial and
Administrative Services to set a Public Hearing for the proposed
uses of the 2008 Community Development Block Grant funds on
Monday, December 10, 2007, and further directs the City Clerk to
publish said notice of hearing in the November 28, 2007 edition of
the News Herald.

recommendation of the City Engineer to acquire the property at
1744-2nd Street in the amount of $67,500 to be appropriated from
TIFA Area Funds; AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Department of
Legal Affairs is hereby directed to prepare the necessary
documents and the Mayor, City Clerk and City Attorney, William R.
Look, are hereby authorized to sign said documents; and that the
City Engineer is directed to DEMOLISH same upon completion of the
Wyandotte Historical Commission inspection of the home as it
pertains to the preservation of historical and cultural items for
the City of Wyandotte.
