The Downriver Genealogical Society was found in 1980 and
represents seventeen communities in South-Eastern Wayne County,
Michigan. The purpose of the society is to further the study
and sharing of genealogical research by preserving and
perpetuation the records of our ancestors and to encourage and
assist its members.The
Downriver Genealogical Society entered into an agreement with the
City of Wyandotte to transcribe the death records and record them
on the computer for use by genealogists.
The above flies contain information
about persons who died in the City of Wyandotte, County of Wayne,
State of Michigan. Information record includes name of
deceased; death date & place; age at death; sex; marital status;
birth date & place; spouse; father and mother with birthplaces;
cemetery; undertaker; page number and any additional comments.
