EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE: 
The Art Fair Executive Committee is comprised of nine members
Three from the City of Wyandotte, one representative from the Business Association of Wyandotte, one representative from the Downriver Arts and Crafts Guild, one representative from the Acanthus Art Society and three representatives from the community.

STATISTICS: 

  • The Wyandotte Street Art Fair, a non-profit event is now in its 44th year.  
  • There are presently approximately 350 artists and crafts people participating.  
  • Twenty food concessions and one beer areas provide a wide variety of delicious cuisine to satisfy all visitors.
  • Area merchants convert sidewalks into a giant outdoor market featuring once-a-year values of quality merchandise.

LOST AND FOUND: All items should be turned in to the information booth. After Fair dates, check with the office of Community Relations,  (734) 324-4506 for possible recovery of lost articles.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
Art is such an integral part of the human experience that we often overlook
its very existence.

The purpose of the Wyandotte Street Art Fair is:

  • To promote and expand the community awareness of the creative arts  through quality exhibits that provide meaningful cultural enrichment.
  • To offer the artist and visitor alike the opportunity to meet one another in a hospitable and festive atmosphere.
  • To stimulate a sense of civic unity and pride through the dynamics
    of cultural understanding.
