The Wyandotte Cultural
and Historical Commission seeks to identify,
preserve and protect significant historic properties that celebrate
the rich history of The City of Wyandotte. The Cultural and Historical
Commission also oversees Museum operations and hosts various Special
Events throughout the year.

The Cultural and Historical Commission meets on the 2nd Thursday of each
month at 6:30 pm

Term Limits
The Cultural and Historical Commission has a term limit of 4 years
with terms beginning on January 1st.
Our Mission
The Wyandotte Museum is dedicated to inspiring and fostering public
awareness, interest, understanding and appreciation of the unique
history of the city of Wyandotte and its relationship to the
Downriver region.
The Museum preserves our mutual heritage through its historic
buildings, collections, archives, publications, exhibits, programs
and special events using our shared past as a foundation of the
future.
