Wyandotte Beautification Commission is primarily responsible for landscaping of the downtown district. The Commission also maintains the Wyandotte Community Garden, which is available for rent by individuals and organizations. We are an all-volunteer organization and our volunteers assist in planting at our Dig Ins twice a year, as well as our monthly Community Garden Work Days. Volunteering is open to all people who live, work and appreciates the City of Wyandotte. Our Annual Beautification Awards honor residents and businesses that maintain beautiful properties throughout our city. The Commission consists of 10 members.

If you are not a member of the commission, you may still become a member
of our corps of volunteers. To join our email list of volunteers, send
Annual plantingsus an email using the link below with your name and email address and we will keep you informed of our planting events via email.

Our Mission
We seek to involve neighbors throughout the City of Wyandotte in community landscaping, planting and improvements projects; both large and small. Our commission is an all-volunteer organization, open to all who live or work in the City of Wyandotte. Our goal is to build community pride, encourage participation and have fun. We value any contribution of time
or talent. No contribution is ever too small.
