Senior Tele-Care Program

The Tele-Care Program, sponsored by the Wyandotte Recreation, Leisure and Culture Department, is intended to make life a bit easier for all Senior Citizens in Wyandotte, and covers many aspects of senior citizen living. Telephone calls are made daily to shut-ins just to chat and to make sure that they are doing well. Transportation is arranged for those shut-ins who have doctor appointments or who must make other necessary trips.

The Tele-Care Program arrangements may be made by calling 324-7285 between the hours of 8:30 am and 12:30 pm, Monday thru Friday.

Chore Referral Program

The Wyandotte Roosevelt Key Club in conjunction with the Wyandotte Kiwanis Club offers Leaf Raking and Snow Removal to homebound Wyandotte Senior Citizens ages 65 and older. For information about this program, please contact Marge at 734-281-0344.
