Proposed FEMA Flood Insurance Maps
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has proposed new Flood Insurance Maps (FIRMS) for the City of Wyandotte. These maps may be accessed online or can be viewed at the Wyandotte City Hall Engineering and Building Department, 3131 Biddle Avenue, Wyandotte, Michigan 48192. The City of Wyandotte has contracted with a consulting firm to determine if there is scientific or technical information that would serve to refute the proposed new base flood elevations. Questions regarding this information should be referred to the Engineering and Building Department at 734-324-4550 or engineering1@wyan.org.
