Garage Sale Application

All citizens who hold garage sales in The City of Wyandotte are required to obtain a permit. Garage sale length is limited to 3 consecutive days. Households may have a maximum of 2 garage sales per year, plus the Citywide Garage Sale date. The City of Wyandotte holds an annual “Citywide Garage Sale” every May.

In order to obtain a permit for a garage sale you must:

1. Completed and signed Garage Sale Application
2. Submit fee to the Clerk’s Office.

The application fee for garage sales is $5.00. The application fee for the Citywide Garage Sale date in May is $15.00. As a Citywide Garage Sale participant, you receive a yard sign on this date, as well as the publication of your address as a participant in the Citywide Garage Sale book. $5.00 of this $15.00 fee is refundable upon return of yard signage by the date set by the Museum.
