Advertise Your Community Event!

The City of Wyandotte offers low-cost advertising for non-profits and community events in the City through our online bulletin board, electronic sign and cable advertisements.

The Fort Street Electronic Sign is located at the corner of Eureka and Fort Street. The sign scrolls messages at 2-3 second intervals, 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week. Cultural events, services and other promotions are permitted to be listed on this signage provided that they benefit charity or promote culture or education. Current pricing is listed on the application form. The fee for this service is $10.00, and the application should be submitted to the Recreation, Leisure & Culture Department Office at 3131 Third Street, Wyandotte, Michigan 48192. Theodore Roosevelt Indoor Track & Fitness Facility

The Roosevelt indoor track and fitness facility is open for use to all Wyandotte Residents, Wyandotte City Employees and Wyandotte Public School Employees 18 years of age and older. For more information about this facility, please visit the Recreation webpage.

Wyandotte Community Garden Plot Rental

The Wyandotte Community Garden is located on Eureka between 3rd and 4th Streets next to Mac's Market. Individuals and organizations are invited to rent a plot at the Community Garden. Rental is FREE for first time participants, and for organizations that are growing food for charitable causes. The fee is $10.00 per year, with a $10.00 deposit to be refunded at the end of the growing season. For more information on the Community Garden, please click here.

The Wyandotte Showmobile

The City of Wyandotte Showmobile is a large, portable covered stage. The stage is 36 feet by 13 feet and has a capacity for 35 band members and 30 orchestra members. To inquire about the rental availability of the Showmobile, you may contact the Special Events Office at info@wyan.org. You must complete an application and show a Certificate of Insurance (General Liability and Fleet Auto Insurance) prior to rental.  Current pricing is listed on the application form.

The Wyandotte Millennium Trolley

The Wyandotte Millennium Trolley holds 32 passengers, is handicapped accessible and fully air-conditioned. The trolley is available for rent for birthdays, weddings, business functions or event travel. To inquire about the rental availability of the Trolley, you may contact the Special Events Office at info@wyan.org. You must complete an application prior to rental.  Current pricing is listed on the application form.

Yack Arena Rental

The Yack Arena is also a versatile public recreation center, which hosts several different events from March through August. The building is comprised of 25,440 square feet of floor space, two conference rooms, two kitchens, locker rooms, first aid room, restrooms and showers. The area seats a total of 3,800 persons.
